The HP Group, LLC, a Certified 8(a) Small Disadvantaged Business and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), was established May 25th, 2007 by Mason Poe of Lillington, North Carolina. Mason is a Purple Heart recipient from Operation Iraqi Freedom. The HP Group provides high quality Facility Support Services to both Federal and State Government agencies, with Grounds Maintenance and Custodial services in particular being specialties of the company.
Mason had always provided services to his local community as a City Of Dunn Firefighter, even before enlisting in the United States Marine Corps. Mason joined the Marines in 1999 and served four years before being severely injured by an IED bomb attack in Haditah, Iraq. With truly remarkable recoveries, he has followed through on his dream of establishing and managing his own contract services company. Mason’s philosophy is that the provision of only the highest quality and most timely services will be the trademark of his company. His determination and ability to follow through on his commitments is exemplified by his participation in the Race Across America in June 2012 as a member of the Team 4Mil / WWP Cycling Team. This event consisted of cycling 3,000 miles from California to Maryland in 7 days to raise awareness of the sacrifices made by all injured service members and their families. All of Mason’s references for both ongoing and completed contracts will verify that he is committed to his customers and is vigilant in the performance of his contracts. As a result, Mason has enjoyed considerable success with a variety of service contracts with various government agencies. Mason feels especially privileged to provide services to our nation’s military and related support organizations.
